This performance was a charity event for the city of Aberdeen, Hong Kong, produced by the Chairman of Aberdeen, the Honorable Chan Fu Ming.

Instead of performing a full opera, The Rose Family participated in singing their most rehearsed vignette, Dai Noi Fa, Heurng Yu (帝女花之香夭).
